Towards Impressionism: Photography in France 1850-1865

James Hyman is pleased to present 'Towards Impressionism: Photography in France 1850-1865', a photography exhibition that examines the ways in which early French photographers anticipated the mode of Impressionism that would dominate the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

The exhibition will showcase vintage work by Giraudon's Artist, Edouard Baldus, Alphonse Delaunay, Andre Giroux, Charles Marville, Charles Negre, Henri-Victor Regnault, Louis-Remy Robert, Henri Le Secq, Jean-Marie Taupenot, and Varin Freres.
