Jean-Auguste Dominique Ingres

The four lithographs are made by Ingres but printed in 1818-27 by Charles Joseph Hullmandel, lithographer in London.
The
subjects are Lord and Lady Glenbervie, their son, Frederic,
and Lady Glenbervie's brother, all of whom
were
drawn in Rome in 1815. The original drawings were
then used by Hulmandel to produce the lithographs
which were printed from one stone and then divided
after printing.
