Early works by Le Secq are extremely rare.

Many of these pictures exist as only single prints or at most, three or four examples. The majority of them were gifted to the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs at the beginning of the 20th century and few have ever reached the market, in contrast to his pictures of cathedrals which are relatively plentiful.
