This
work is about the invisible connections that exist between two people, in this
case based on brothers who, even if they move apart, are always connected. A
monumental version of this motif is installed in Portman Square, London. I
created a virtual antithesis to this work in the sculpture Brothers, previously
installed in Marble Arch and in the grounds of St Pancras New Church, Kings
Cross, London, where two figures share one mind. All of these works, and
the related paintings and drawings, are in one way or another about the
challenges of true communication between individuals.
