Linda McCartney Platinum Prints

20 November 2018 - 20 May 2019
Earlier this year Paul McCartney and his family donated 63 of Linda McCartney's photographs to the V&A Museum, marking the importance of her work and coinciding with the museum's expanded presentation of photography. We are delighted that following this event, the Estate of Linda McCartney have offer for sale an exclusive selection of platinum prints by Linda McCartney, which have been unavailable for a decade. They are exclusively available from James Hyman Gallery.
In 2007 we staged the internationally acclaimed exhibition Linda McCartney Photographs, which attracted 40,000 visitors, an unprecedented number in the gallery's 20 year history of exhibitions. Now, for the first time in a decade, a selection of these pictures is available once more for collectors to acquire. Each platinum print was produced in an edition of just 25 and printed by Linda McCartney's favoured printers, and each is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.

At the time of the exhibition Linda McCartney Photographs, Paul McCartney commented:

An exhibition presenting the range of Linda's photographic work is long overdue, so I'm obviously pleased that this show is happening. James Hyman, my daughter Mary, and I have worked on it now for three years, and the result is a sensitive selection of works that really demonstrates Linda's creative output as a photographer. The photographs not only illustrate her incredible talent as an artist, but as someone who was very much connected to the culture of the times, and wasn't afraid to challenge herself, or her subject.
